Tobias Wistisen is a Danish jeweler, graduate of ESMOD Paris. He creates jewels that resemble him, dark, deep, charged with Scandinavian strength and esotericism.
From his Danish childhood, Tobias Wistisen kept the rigor and strength of craftsmanship, a certain harshness too. These qualities were associated with the demands of Haute Couture and the art of directing learned alongside John Galliano, with whom he made his debut.
Since 2006, Wistisen has been working the jewel by hand from naturally aged metals, giving each of his creations a handcrafted patina. With metals, tin, brass, silver, he added leather and sometimes even wood, engraved, imbued with spirituality.
