Stella McCartney created her brand in 2001. Her creations reveal sleek, fluid lines, and assert an elegant, natural, relaxed femininity.
Stella McCartney is, of course, the daughter of Paul McCartney and Linda Eastman. But that's not all. And without beating about the bush. A graduate of Central Saint Martin's, she presented a graduation collection entitled "Stella May Day", for which Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Yasmin Le Bon - no less - walked the catwalk, to music created by her father - so chic, so British, so Stella.
The English designer joined Chloé in 1997 as Artistic Director, following the departure of Karl Lagerfeld. Four years later, she launched her own label in partnership with the Gucci group. Her credo: no leather or fur in her collections, in absolute harmony with her vegetarian diet and personal convictions.
She also developed her own sportswear line, "Adidas by Stella McCartney", and had the honor of dressing British athletes for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
