Born in the Basque Country, Francisco Rabaneda y Cuervo fled the Spanish Civil War at the age of five with his mother to France, where he took the name Paco Rabanne. After studying architecture, he devoted himself to designing accessories with avant-garde savoir-faire. He created a new era with his first collection, "12 Importable Dresses in Contemporary Materials", in which he imposed futuristic fashion with legendary pieces such as the chainmail dress. Today, his legendary, iconic and timeless pieces can be found in the reminiscences that made him famous. Renowned for his non-conformism and ability to combine old fashions to create new ones, Paco Rabanne extends the same epic, eye-catching flair that characterizes his womenswear to his new menswear collection.
