The ink of his diploma from Saint Martin's School in London was not yet dry as Neil Barrett was already taking his first steps at Gucci in Florence as a Senior Designer for the Men's line. He will shine there for 5 years before meeting Patricio Bertelli, husband of Miuccia Prada and CEO of the group.
Barrett then became both the designer of Prada and the keystone of the launch of the brand's men's collection, which was greeted with immense success. Its eponymous brand was born in 1999.
