South African artist Madoda Fani began his career in Cape Town as a ceramic painter.
In 2000 he won second place at the Ouagadougou International Craft Show, allowing him to be discovered internationally. Through the years he has travelled the world to present his creations, from Johannesburg to Miami.
His ceramics are inspired by natural forms and ritual cultures. Through a slow creative process, he infuses his creations with dark tones, filled with power.
