The Italian-style Wabi Sabi through a production of objects and furniture revealing the beauty of craftsmanship.
Founded in 2014 by Silvia Ariemma and Rebecca Treves, Editamateria publishes collections of objects and furniture made in Italy. Editamateria is also an art agency whose goal is to promote the work of local designers and artists. It was during the exhibition "Wabi Sabi, Italian Slow Design" at Turin Design Week in 2012 that Silvia Ariemma decided to highlight this particular aesthetic that gives pride of place to the imperfect beauty of purity, nature and craftsmanship.
The collections are made of wood, glass or ceramics, always in limited editions and in small quantities. Witness the capsule collection "The Blowing Man".
