Leather as a second skin
At DROMe, leather looks like a second skin, and sometimes invites fur to warm it up, in an urban and modern, elegant and practical wardrobe.
Italian designer Ferrero Rosati loves leather and caresses it, like his father, a baker, did with his breads. This sensitivity to the tactile report pushes him to always innovate to refine the skins, including the most rigid, like the python. Very quickly, his exceptional approach to the material gave him the opportunity to work with big names in fashion: Giorgio Armani, Gianni Versace, Gianfranco Ferré and Jil Sander made him an interlocutor of choice when it came to leather.
If the cuts are sober, the originality of their textures is enough to make them unique and surprising, also thanks to the use of natural and hazy colors.
The incredibly fine nappa leather, sometimes laser-cut, leads to a day and night wardrobe, sophisticated and elegant.
For her Fall / Winter 2016 collection, Rosati imagines rebellious dolls all dressed in bows and frills, under varnished raincoats, and oversized trench coats. Behind their glasses, the innocence of powder pink and baby blue contrast with the seriousness of mustard yellow and wine lees.
