After Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy in 2008, Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty in 2011, PUNK: Chaos to Couture in 2013, and Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology last year, the Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute opened its annual Spring Exhibit on May 1 to an audience of A-listers.
