AALTO - Soft Power – LECLAIREUR

This season, Aalto explores the power of femininity, from the office to the gym, because competition is everywhere, all the time. In a suit from Monday to Friday, more sporty on weekends, or more dressed up in the evening, or all three at once, the woman Aalto assumes an ultra-fluid silhouette mixing influences for a spring / summer 2019 all in flexibility.

Because it's all about attitude. The Finnish brand breaks conventions by diverting suits and sportswear to combine them in a single silhouette, sometimes a single piece, like this hybrid shirt between rigor and comfort for maximum style. Tuomas Merikoski imagines athletic silhouettes suggesting the idea of a woman of power, with loose and supple pants, with Japanese cuts, to have both feet well anchored in the ground and the head in the clouds. Above and below, we remain relaxed, with a toga dress, a t-shirt and a skirt, even if the asymmetrical cuts and the flat volumes announce a certain rigor and a taste for subtlety. White, pink, aniseed green or blue jeans temper the game, because what matters most, above all, is to feel good in your head, and good in your body.
