In the heart of a Victorian school turned into a workshop, Timothy Richards creates the most detailed architectural models.
Richards grew up near Bath, England, where he used to work on models with his father. As a child, he even transformed a box of Corn Flakes into a Clipper.
After a humanitarian trip to Lesotho and an exploration of the Greek islands of Spetses with Tim Severin, Richards returned to Bath where he produced models of iconic monuments from Victorian architecture to art deco. Handcrafted from gypsum plaster, some are limited editions, such as his reproductions of the Royal Palace, the Chrysler Building, and the Ca’d’Oro.
