Simone Rocha launched her eponymous label in 2010, after a diploma course at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin and the Central Saint Martins in London. His collections are characterized by bulky silhouettes diverting romantic and female codes, an aesthetic that earned him the title of designer of the year by Harper's Bazaar magazine in 2016 and British Womenswear Designer of the Year during the British Fashion Awards the same year. Inspired by art, nature, history and its Irish origins, its creations have spectacular taffeta dresses such as avant-garde tailoring pieces or delicate pearl jewelry.
