Pierre-Louis Mascia's colorful creativity is expressed through his stoles, shawls, scarves, silk squares, bags and even knitted jackets. This French designer creates accessories, often very loose, so that they can be worn like a garment.
After a spell at the Beaux-Arts, he worked as an illustrator for Vogue US, ELLE and produced visuals for Chanel and Yohji Yamamoto. He launched his eponymous brand in 2007, in partnership with the Achille Pinto printing works in Como. Today, Pierre-Louis Mascia imagines his collections under the sun of Toulouse, but it's under the Italian azure that he produces his pieces.
An adept of patchwork and cut-up, the motifs he imagines telescope endlessly, creating a harmony of contrasting details and always catching the eye off-guard.
