Cottweiler is an English brand created in 2012 by Ben Cottrell and Matthew Dainty. Cottweiler is the image of the duo: thoughtful, finding its way beyond trends, translating their taste for design, avant-garde, minimalism, material and subcultures, all in a very sport.
It was at the University of West England in Bristol that the duo met. Once their course is over, the two friends each follow their own path, Matthew Dainty under the orders of Kim Jones, Ben Cottrell at Savile Row, at Ozwald Boateng, a British master tailor, both acquiring, thus, an experience that they put today at a profit at Cottweiler. The duo won the Woolmark Prize 2016/2017, a few days after the presentation of their Fall / Winter 2017 collection in London.
