Launched in 1981, Comme des Garçons Homme Plus is the men's line from avant-garde Japanese fashion house Comme des Garçons. The brand's designer and founder, Rei Kawakubo, continues the work she has been doing since 1969: the search for a different, unpredictable beauty, using a monochrome palette and an aesthetic based on deconstruction and asymmetry. The House revisits the traditional suit, from knee-length jackets to derbies covered in polka dots, military uniforms, ripped pants and baggy shorts, which it introduces into a formal, sophisticated wardrobe.
