The Undercoverism menswear collection aims to introduce a new generation to the avant-garde creations of renowned streetwear designer Jun Takahashi.

Launching in 2021 under the banner of cult label Undercover, the Japanese label applies Takahashi's legendary whimsy to a handpicked selection of basics. Distorted shapes, striking color combinations and the smallest details transfigure traditional garments such as T-shirts, jeans and aviator jackets, giving rise to spectacular images that seem to emerge from strange, dark dreams. The brand retains the basic cuts of these casual pieces, but adds a touch of rebellion, with messy button plackets, funambulistic bangs and disconcerting split seams.

Through non-conformist outfits of the highest quality, Undercoverism blurs the boundaries between reality and fiction, and depicts the many facets of Jun Takahashi, among which his idiosyncratic, verve-filled heritage blossoms in a poetic universe.
