Aristide Najean is a complete and complex artist: painter, passionate about philosophy, he first honed his soft-cut talents in the Parisian studio of Master Maurice Felt, before discovering, when he was just 22 years old, Murano and his glass blowers. He still resides on the island of international renown, blowing and cooking his own glass.
In Murano, Najean also meets Starck, with whom he shares a passion for fruitful and curious artists like them, including Antoni Clavé and Claude Garache, of Galerie Maeght.
Najean creates, imagines, designs and breathes unique pieces for large houses, including the Royal Monceau in Paris or the Palais Grassi in Venice, even associating with Baccarat.
