Aalto is a Finnish women's ready-to-wear brand. Located in Paris, Aalto, "the wave" in Finnish, represents the marriage between the sensitivity of a designer from the far North and French sophistication. Its designer, Tuomas Merikoski, infuses each of his pieces with raw energy, the result of an anti-conformist attitude, somewhere between grunge and futurism. Before creating her own brand, Merikoski was a stylist for Givenchy and Louis Vuitton.
