Gabriela Hearst was born in Uruguay and raised on a family ranch surrounded by animals and plains. She attributes her desire for freedom, sustainable practical clothing and dynamic fashion to this upbringing in the heart of nature. This status plays a big role in both her designs and the way she approaches her brand. Whether it's a knit, a dress or a blazer, she offers unisex utility pieces with western details.

At the end of her studies, she decided to settle down in New York to begin her career as a fashion designer. She launched her first label, Candela in 2004, before launching her eponymous label in 2015, drawing inspiration from her childhood values.

Founder of two brands and artistic director of the house of Chloé for several seasons, Gabriela Hearst is much talked about. Particularly with her eponymous brand that she founded in 2015.

The brand's style can be defined as minimalist. Composed mostly of checks and stripes screaming. Exquisite evening dresses with impeccable cuts, each piece is meticulously crafted from noble fabrics.

The designer also defended the concept of "conscientious luxury" since the materials she uses are always of high quality, environmentally responsible and carefully selected.

The pieces of her Spring/Summer 2020 collection were all equipped with a QR Code, allowing consumers more transparency by sharing the supply chain.

Gabriela wanted to create a brand that reflected a slower pace and process: something that was made with care and precision, where tradition was more important than trend and where each piece had a specific purpose.

His fashion shows are also subject to strict regulations regarding carbon footprint or the use of plastic.

Efforts that will not be made in wine since in 2019 the LVMH group has taken a minority stake in her brand through its investment fund, LVMH Luxury Ventures, which supports young designers. It is also awarded many times.
