Isaac Sellam created his eponymous brand in 2002. His material is leather, the leathers that are in his skin. His distinctive signature is inimitable: staples, which he reinvents and uses as an assembly technique, whether decorative, applied to sleeves, or colossal on the back of his jackets, like a futuristic backbone.
From a childhood dream, Isaac built a whole universe, unique and richly creative. His first jacket was designed, assembled and sewn in his parents' kitchen when he was just 16.
Fifteen years passed, spent tanning, studying, cutting and testing leather... Isaac Sellam became an incomparable expert in the field. Curious, a jack-of-all-trades, he masters his creations from A to Z, in small quantities, all produced in his Paris workshop. Refusing to intellectualize his creative process, he draws and creates what he likes, what inspires him and, above all, follows his emotions. The result is always unexpected, modern and timeless.
