For women, the attitude goes this season by a long silhouette celebrating the purity, which we would think drawn with a single stroke of the pencil. Yang Li rekindles the flame of contemporary romanticism through an abstract beauty imbued with gothic references: a perfecto jacket laced with zippers, leather pants and studded boots. All in black, the silhouette appropriates coats so long that they fall to the bottom of the ankles, like protective cocoons, chrysalises for moths. The cuts, the asymmetrical lines, from the neck to the waist reveal a cerebral sensuality - like the collection Haider Ackermann this season.

On the men's side, Yang Li has been making a trilogy on three archetypes of movie villains since last season, highlighting his love for the 7th art. After a fall-winter 2017 focused on the serial killer, the Chinese designer offers us a spring collection dedicated to the character of the corrupt cop.

The police inspector-style suit jackets are in the spotlight this season, inspired by the roles of Gary Oldman in Leon or Harvey Keitel in Bad Lieutenant. The volumes of jackets, trench coats highlight imposing carrures, with straight cuts underlining the line of the shoulders. Shoulders exposed when the fabric is cut, almost torn after a fiery chase in the streets, while the pants gain in fullness and highlight a strong and determined silhouette.
