Monse leaves the street for the heart of everyday life, presenting its Pre-Fall 2018 collection in the heart of a supermarket, where the asymmetrical cuts dear to Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia come to life, sublimated by graphic patterns.
The young brand asserts its style by playing with volume, while striped tops inspired by the classic wardrobe emphasize the body before unfolding in a corolla on the shoulders, or lengthening and gaining width. Pencil skirts split high on the thigh, and also let a draped panel slide, giving these conservative pieces a sense of modernity specific to the House.
Urban meets classic, as suit jackets become oversized, cuffs pile up like on jean jackets, and asymmetrical sweaters almost feel like they have a train.
