Partner for two years, Leclaireur offers the fall/winter 2018 collection of the British designer, winner of an award celebrating global talent, innovation and the creation of collections made from Merino wool.

It is with an aesthetic purified to the extreme and hyper functional that the British creator knew how to seduce the jurors, finding his inspiration in a quote from the German industrial designer Dieter Rams: "the form follows the function". This thought, Dieter Rams made it a rule that he followed throughout his career, imagining objects with an assertive minimalism, minimalism that we find through the fall / winter collection of Matthew Miller.

Coats, jackets, all pieces designed for the outdoors, are accompanied by belts that can be detached, reattached, in order to transform the garment into an accessory and vice versa. A coat with straight cuts is accompanied by a military belt, another inspiration creating a modern contrast with suit pieces, while a perfecto can be worn as a shoulder bag. Matthew Miller innovates by making pieces in vulcanized merino wool, a chemical process perfected by Thomas Hancock, which consists of waterproofing the fabric by adding natural rubber. The seams of the garments are welded rather than sewn, thus offering a foolproof waterproofness, down to the smallest details.
