It's in the bookstore The Strandwhere she has a habit, that the French designer Christelle Kocher presented her pre-fall 2018 collection, thus exporting a little bit of Paris to the other side of the Atlantic.
Christelle Kocher imagines collections at the crossroads, as underlined by our article on the spring-summer 2018 collection where the third half of the game took on the appearance of a social evening. This time, it is turned to literature and one of the symbols of the French capital, the PSG, that Koché drew its inspiration, declining silhouettes crossed by a punk energy, halfway between sportswear and tailoring.
The sweaters take on the air of hybrid piecesintegrating elements of suit jacket, in the back and neckline, on which we find the Statue of Liberty in print. At the bottom, we associate them with oversize pantspants, half sportswear, half suit, while a shiny black trench coatwith pleated effects, completes a silhouette with its oversized lapel, crossing the shoulders to finish at the wrists.
The rugby polo shirtsa classic of the house, are transformed into jumpsuit with pleated skirt or wear them oversized for a more relaxed look. For lovers of more structured pieces, Koché explores asymmetry with a top with draped detailsdetails, split on the sides, paired with a blue pantswhose colors evoke those of the PSG.
