Aizea: "the wind", in Basque. The wind of departure, of arrival, of travel, too. AÏZEA creates luggage, clutches, handbags, and even slip-ons in reptile skin, for adventurers who want to stay chic and keep their cool.

Specialized in luggage, the house made in Euskadi realizes its products from precious leathers - python, American alligator or ostrich - whose origin is meticulously controlled and certified CITES. The quality of the python is such, on the briefcases as on the slip-ons, that it gives to the creation an elegance without any ostentation. The relief of the scales, the nuances of color, always subtle, and the "gun barrel" finish of the padlock and zippers, demonstrate the great attention to detail. The brand is also developing a line in bull calf, sourced from one of the best tanneries in the Basque Country, highlighting the interest in local know-how.

In addition to know-how, tradition and innovation form three pillars on which AÏZEA relies to produce objects that are as beautiful as they are functional. Produced in France, Spain or Portugal, the collections are designed between Paris and Biarritz by Joakin Echevarria, also founder of the brand, present at Pitti Uomo FW1617, and Tranoï SS17.
