Sinuous folds
Leon Emanuel Blanck is an avant-garde designer based in Germany. His style, nonconformist and dark, is the result of a three-dimensional work centered on the interaction between matter and the body.
Blanck uses large pieces of fabric that he models and sews directly on the body, helping to form meandering folds on asymmetrical and sculptural pieces. The silhouette then takes on a post-apocalyptic look and emphasizes the beauty of imperfection. Some parts require up to 70 hours of work.
