Black is the hottest color
Julius is a brand created in 2001 in Tokyo, by Tatsuo Horikawa. The work of the Japanese designer is nourished by Gothic elements, several mediums, various works that he synthesizes in his collections. He uses black as the basis for his creative palette, black as a total color, a symbol of avant-garde, deep spirituality, and nobility.
Julius was originally a collaborative art project, including producing films and performances for parades. Three years later, the Japanese designer naturally turned to clothing, presented a Spring / Summer collection and then exhibited, in a modern art gallery, the abstract works that inspired him.
At Julius' Autumn / Winter 2017 will be light, composed of whites, tertiary pastel colors. Basically urban, and soberly sportswear, the collection plays on extreme volumes. The knitted sweaters extend to the knee, the sleeves also take on another dimension, covering the hand, opened with a zip, puffing on the wrist.
