Leclaireur

The culture of difference

By shattering the boundaries between fashion, design and visual arts, Leclaireur founders Martine and Armand Hadida have been imposing their visionary vision for over 40 years.

Pushing these three expressions
creative expressions as the cornerstones of a unique and transversal universe, Leclaireur remains a pioneer that continually reinvents itself to offer its clientele an avant-garde selection oriented towards the aesthetic and the world.

The adventure began in 1980, when Leclaireur opened its
first destination in Paris in an art gallery on the Champs-Élysées. By offering a selection of contemporary designers
the founding couple captured the energy of the times, understanding and anticipating the era that would revolutionize the fashion world. In 2011, Armand Hadida was named to the Order of Arts and Letters by the Minister of Culture.

Over the next decade, Leclaireur became the first
distributor of brands such as Prada, Helmut Lang, John Galliano, Belgian wonders Ann Demeulemeester, Dries Van Noten, Martin Margiela, and Tod's in France. They have also developed long-term relationships with the "Japanese school": Rei Kawakubo, Junya Watanabe, Yohji Yamamoto, Undercover.

In terms of lifestyle, when the founders met
their first Fornasetti pieces in a Milanese gallery, a long and close friendship was born. Today, Leclaireur's Boissy d'Anglas space houses the world's largest collection of Fornasetti home décor pieces, objects and furniture. Likewise, they have engaged in constantly renewed, innovative and collaborative relationships with designers and creative minds, including Ben Storms, Lindsey Adelman, Aristide Najean, Nymphenburg, No Name Kitchen Manufacture, among others.

Today, with two destinations in Paris and one in Los Angeles, Leclaireur imagines experiential spaces, where creative registers merge to make each visit special and unforgettable.

Leclaireur is always looking forward, engaging in what is to come, to dare, to disrupt - it is our duty to seduce, and to surprise.
