Coralla Maiuri creates objects inspired by the poetic world that lives inside her. A world that she began to create during her childhood spent in the countryside, when she enjoyed digging in the mud and playing with colors. Her artistic path began with installations and videos before turning to design and porcelain.

A medium that has since become her favorite, a way of expressing herself; using colors and metals that she assembles as one multiplies the gestures of a choreography. Each piece is thus crossed by a primitive energy, magnified by details giving a precious character to the creation.

Enter the Villa Borghese, stop for a moment in front of the paintings of Caravaggio and Michelangelo, and meet Apollo. His line of tableware takes its inspiration from the very heart of Italian art. A multitude of small, graphic polka dots create joyful, organic galaxies, highlighted by gold accents in a neoclassical, sometimes almost raw, style. The combination of blue and gold meets the purity of a white illuminated by yellow, softened by a subtle touch of pink.
