LECLAIREUR + FORNASETTI - The Sacred Fire

For more than 30 years, the House of Fornasetti and Leclaireur have forged an unbreakable bond. More than a scented candle, L'Éclaireuse is a real collector's item.

Leclaireur loves perfumes, those to be worn on oneself, of course, and those that one chooses to imbibe at home. By presenting the creations of Cire Trudon, for example, before its time and for years, and by integrating in a selection that we know to be rigorous the candles of Frédéric Malle, Fornasetti, Mad et Len, and Parfums de Marly, Leclaireur has participated in an olfactory-cultural movement that has quickly gone beyond the niche market. More recently, Philippe di Méo's exceptional pieces have naturally found their place with us.

Martine and Armand Hadida's passion for candles and precious perfumes has grown over time. From their decisive meeting with Christian Astuguevieille, the creative director, was born the desire for a candle, no, for a series of original candles, which appeal to the senses, regressive, unexpected, intimate, like signatures that breathe... Ink, Grass, Zan, Absinthe and Tangerine: so many journeys to the heart of time, which animated the first dancing flames of a very young adventure. Limited editions, iconic, coveted objects to collect, LECLAIREUR candles opened the way and captured the imagination.

Today, a new collaboration is taking shape, born of the friendship the couple has maintained for thirty years with the house of Fornasetti, whose decorative objects have become a genre in their own right.

The latest divine creation, L'Eclaireuse, is an invitation to travel composed by perfumer Robert and based on patchouli, cedar and sandalwood, with hints of cypress, bay, incense and geranium. L'Eclaireuse exudes sass, inspires movement and awakens memories. Exactly what this winter needs, in short.
